Roti / Tortilla Chips

Everybody loves chips. Chips and dips are very simple and easy party pleaser. This tortilla or Roti chips contains goodness of healthy and hearty whole wheat flour mixed with little chili powder and baked to golden perfection. It is a perfect little snack which can be made in no time.

Roti or Tortilla chips are healthier version of fried tortilla chips made from baked whole wheat Indian flatbread or tortilla.

Ingredients

  • 6 medium size whole wheat flatbread(roti) or tortilla

  • 1/4 tsp of chilly powder

  • Sea salt to taste

  • little water to dip bread

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 450F and coat two large baking sheet with little oil.
  • Dip each roti in water quickly ,it will make chips more crispy.
  • Now stack all the roties and cut the pile into quaters in the shape of triangles.
  • Lay all the triangles in sheets in single layer.
  • Sprinkle it with salt and chilly powder and bake it for 8-9 minutes or till gloden brown and crisp.

Notes

  • Keep an eye in the oven, as Roti chips can easily burn on you.
  • You can add any kind of spices or herbs you like.
