Chocolate walnut fudge is an ultimate chocolate and walnut combo for any chocolate lover. Cocoa powder, condensed milk, butter and walnuts combined together to form gooey, chocolaty and nutty fudge. This fudge recipe is one of the most easy dessert recipe you can encounter which needs only 5 ingredients. In my memory, chocolate walnut fudge which I ate from lonavala(India) is the best gooey fudge I ever tasted. So this fudge recipe is somewhat inspired from it. If you are chocolate lover then you must try my version of chocolate walnut fudge.

Chocolate walnut fudge is yummy fudge recipe made with chocolates, walnut and condensed milk.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of walnut

  • 400 gms of sweetened condensed milk

  • 1/4 cup + 2 Tbsp of heaped cocoa powder

  • 40 gms of butter(about 3-4 Tbsp, salted is fine)

  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract

Directions

  • Coarsely grind walnut in a food processor. Do not grind it fine. Seive cocoa powder and keep it aside.
  • Grease 7 inch of shallow square dish or small round dish and keep it aside
  • Heat a wide pan over low heat, melt butter and add condensed milk. Mix well and cook for about 3-4 minutes until the mixture releases oil.
  • Now add cocoa powder and mix well. Cook for another 2 minutes, stirring it continuosly.
  • Now add walnut and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the mixture thickens and starts to leave the sides of pan.
  • Lastly add in the vanilla and transfer the fudge mixture into a greased pan.
  • Let it cool down completely and chocolate walnut fudge is done.

Notes

  • Store walnut fudge in a airtight container and it will be good upto 2-3 days in room temperature.
  • Use cashews or almonds or mix of both in this chocolate walnut fudge recipe, if you are not walnut fan.
  • If you are dark chocolate lover, use 1/2 cup of cocoa powder in this fudge recipe.
