Fried brown rice

It is one super healthy rice dish comprising brown rice with red bell pepper, cabbage and onion, soy sauce and rice vinegar.

Yield :-2-4 servings
Ingredients :-

  • 3 cups of cooked brown rice
  • 1 cup of broccoli florets,blanced
  • Half of red bell pepper, cut in strips
  • 1/2 cup of sliced cabbage
  • 1/2-1 tsp of red chilly flakes
  • 3 big garlic, chopped
  • 2 tsp of chopped ginger
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 1 tsp of rice vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp of soy sauce
  • salt to taste
  • 1 Tbsp of oil

Method :-

1. Heat oil in a big wok on a medium high heat and add ginger and garlic, stir for few seconds, then add onion and chilly flakes, cook for 1 minute.
2. Now stir in carrots and cook for a minute again. Then add in cabbage,bell pepper, broccoli and salt and stir fry for 1-2 min.
3. Now add rice, soy sauce and vinegar , mix thoroughly and cook till the rice is warm through.
 

  • Serve it with paneer/chicken chilly or paneer/soy/chicken manchurian.
