minutesGoodness of carrots with plain Nonfat yogurt. Carrot raita is good source of protein, vitamin A and calcium.You can’t beat this raita. Grated carrots mixed with yogurt, cumin powder, black rock salt and cilantro.
Ingredients
1.5 cup of plain nonfat yoghurt
2 medium carrot grated
1/2 tsp of black rock salt
1tsp of roasted cumin powder
Finely chopped green chilies to taste
2 Tbsp of chopped cilantro
Salt to taste
1 Tbsp of lemon juice
Directions
- Whisk yogurt with rock salt, cumin, chilies, salt and lemon juice.
- Now add grated carrots, cilantro and mix. Carrot raita is done.
- Chill and serve carrot raita. Serve with Plain or stuffed paratha or rice and dal or lentil curry.
