Hello to all food lovers out there! Myself Neha and I am just a girl who loves to eat and adore to cook with good and fresh ingredients.

I wonder sometimes, how I caught so much interest in cooking. May be because of my mom and sisters. My mom is an awesome cook especially with Keralite menu. Everyone in my family loves the food she makes and for me, she is the BEST. My sisters are great too. I still remember the days when my di used to simultaneously watch and write Khana Khazana’s recipes in her diary.
So, just like any other Indian girl,I only knew a few basic things when it came to cooking. And then I got married and came to U.S.A. With my limited culinary skills I could make some very basic Indian dishes and although they were never bad I did lose interest in cooking the same old same old. So, I started experimenting with different types of food and began exploring in this humongous, divine and luscious food world. Almost every day, I used to browse food websites, watch food network and came out with some new meal with my own little spin on it and when Harish, my husband comes back from work ,used to taste and give his true opinion and comments to it. My hubby is a big foodie and great critic, who also loves to cook and is best in making some of his signature recipes. He always encourages me in each and every possible step. So that’s how my journey towards food began.

But for me ,cooking is not always about taste but it’s about health too. I cherish to cook with fresh and healthy ingredients. I always strive to explore and find out ways to make my food more healthy but still delish. Sometimes, it turn out to be amiss or unappetizing and obviously I get upset and my hubby used to say ” Don’t get upset, it’s a lesson, next time we’ll try a different way” and I get back to my path again .

Who says, tasty and healthy cannot be combined together .Cooking healthy is not very difficult. By following some simple steps and being informed of few facts, you can transform your everyday meal to a good and healthy meal. So ,I created my website with some general and some healthy recipes. Every recipe is tried and tested with exact measurements. I also mentioned some healthy tips and some facts about health, which you might like.
