Celery and avocado salad is a simple salad recipe which is healthy and pretty quick to make. It goes pretty well with dal and rice (lentil and rice) or with grilled fish or chicken.  This salad is very refreshing, crunchy, tangy and spicy.

This easy celery and avocado salad will surprise you with its simplicity. It is healthy, creamy and super flavorful.

Ingredients

  • 4 celery stalks, chopped finely

  • 1 avocado, cubed

  • 1 medium tomato , chopped

  • 1/2 medium red onion , chopped

  • 1 green chilly, finely chopped

  • 1 garlic, finely chopped

  • handful of celery leaves, finely chopped

  • handful of cilantro or parsley, finely chopped

  • 3 Tbsp of yogurt

  • 1 Tbsp of lemon juice

  • Salt to taste

Directions

  • Mix celery, onion, avocado, tomato, cilantro, celery leaves, green chilly, garlic, lemon juice, yogurt and sal and mix everything together.
  • Let it sit for 20 minutes. Serve it cold or at room temperature.
  • Serve celery and avocado salad with grilled chicken or with simple lentil and rice.
