Whole wheat and banana adai

Whole wheat flour, banana and coconut, this three awesome combination makes a super easy and tasty breakfast. A very tasty Kerala dish which is been simplified.

"Banana

Yield :- 4 Adai
Ingredients :-

  • 3/4 cup of whole wheat flour
  • 1 big ripe banana
  • 2 Tbsp of grated coconut
  • 2 Tbsp of jaggery/sugar
  • 1/4 cup of milk/water
  • 2 pinch of salt
  • Little oil/ghee for brushing

Method :-

1. Heat a pan/griddle over low-medium heat.

2. In a bowl, add mashed banana, flour, jaggery, salt, coconut and mix well. Now slowly add milk/water until you get very sticky, wet and loose dough.

3. Spread little oil on the pan and drop a lemon size of dough at the center of pan and flatten it out evenly into a circle, with the back of the spoon or with your fingers.

4. Let it cook for 1-2 minutes until it's nice and brown, then flip and cook the other side, for another minute or so.

  • Serve warm……….
